1) Is there a local retailer in my area? Hardwood Cleaner Resources sells online through a secure site or over the phone. Sorry we do not have a list of other retailers. In-stock items leave our warehouse within one business day and arrive on your doorstep in a few days. 2) What is the difference between Bona Pacific Cleaner and Bona Hardwood Floor Cleaner? Bona Hardwood Cleaner is a pre-made, ready to use formula available in 32 oz spray and gallon. Bona 4 oz concentrate and Bona Commercial Hardwood Cleaner are concentrated cleaners that must be diluted with water. Please note that Pacific Cleaner has been renamed to Bona Commercial Hardwood Cleaner and it is the same formula with different packaging. 3) What's the difference between the MicroPlus Hardwood Cleaning Kit and the Hardwood Floor Wipe Cleaning Kit? The MicroPlus Hardwood Cleaning Kit contains a 4”x15” mop and the Hardwood Floor Wipe Cleaning Kit contains an 8”x15” mop. Both kits contain a 32 oz spray bottle of cleaner. 4) Do I have a wax floor? To test for a wax floor, pick a small spot on the floor in an inconspicuous area, clean the spot with mineral spirits and a white terry cloth towel. If there is a yellow residue on the towel then it is likely that there is a wax / polish on the floor. 5) Can Bona be used on waxed, oiled, or non-finished hardwood floors? Bona products are specially formulated for polyurethane finished hardwood floors. At this time we do not carry any products made for waxed, oiled, or non-finished hardwood floors. 6) Do I need to use Bona Hardwood Refresher on my floors? Bona Hardwood Refresher is made to be used as a temporary fix. If your floors are a couple of years old, the polyurethane finish is getting pretty worn, and you don't want to have your floor professionally refinished yet, then yes, Bona Hardwood Refresher would help bring back the shine to your hardwood floors. Bona Hardwood Refresher will fill in scratches and make your floor shine. To apply Refresher you must use the Refresher Applicator Pad, a synthetic lamb’s wool, to avoid streaking. One bottle covers approximately 500 square feet. It can be applied up to four times a year. To remove Refresher it must wear off, or be sanded off. Please be aware that Refresher is very viscous. Apply in smaller amounts, so it's easier to apply. |
