Tykote Refinishing System Directions

- Dilute 1 part Intensive Floor Treatment to four parts water
- Clean area of all dirt, debris either by vacuum or thorough sweeping and pay close attention to corners
- While wearing rubber gloves, soak several towels and wring them until slightly wet
- Tack the floor with a push broom in which you wrap the damp towel
- Repeat these four steps until entire floor has been cleaned
- For tougher marks, use an abrasive pad to scrub the area manually
- Make sure to rinse the area
- Final step is to apply Basic Coatings Squeaky Clean to the floors by using a sponge mop

***If not using the Tykote Refinishing System as a two step process, then you may pass on using Squeaky Clean.

Alternative Intensive Floor Treatment Applications

- You can soak a string mop in the diluted solution, making sure to wring the excess water off of the mop
- Begin mopping the floor, paying attention to the corners
- Make sure to resoak and wring mop out frequently and mop until the whole floor has been cleaned
- Rinse floor by simply mopping up with clean water and a clean mop
- If using an automatic scrubber make sure to use a white, red, brown or black pad that works well
- Any water that is not picked up by the machine must be mopped up right away
