When our hardwood floors were refinished the installer left us with a gallon of Pallman and told me to use no other cleaner on our new floor or the finish could be ruined. It's not carried at retail stores here (the big ones anyway) but it was easy to order from the company directly. A tiny mixup with the order was remedied immediately and the company was super responsive and went above and beyond to help us. The product is great and I have no idea why it's so much better for the floor than easy to acquire cleaners but I'm not taking any chances with my newly refinished floor. We're Palllman customers for life!
